This study aims to identify and analyze (1) the effect of entrepreneurial competence on the capability of business networks to improve the performance of UKM in Pinrang
Regency. (2) The influence of entrepreneurial motivation on the capability of business networks to improve the performance of UKM in Pinrang Regency. (3) The simultaneous
influence of entrepreneurial competence and entrepreneurial motivation on the capability of business networks to improve the performance of UKM in Pinrang Regency.
This study uses a survey approach with a population of 25,856 units of SMEs in the trade sector in Pinrang Regency. The research sample amounted to 100 respondents using Proportional Random Sampling. Data analysis using quantitative techniques was obtained from the results of the questionnaire using multiple linear regression analysis.
The results of this study indicate that (1) Entrepreneurial competence has a positive and significant effect on the performance of UKM in Pinrang Regency (2) Entrepreneurial
motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of UKM in Pinrang Regency (3) Entrepreneurial competence and entrepreneurial motivation simultaneously
affect the performance of UKM in Pinrang Regency.
