This study aims to determine and analyze: (1) the effect of partial motivation on the enthusiasm of the cadets in the practice of sailing on a training ship at the Barombong Shipping Polytechnic (2) the partial influence of discipline on the spirit of the cadets in the practice of sailing on a training ship at the Barombong Shipping Polytechnic. . (3) the influence of leadership partially on the spirit of the cadets in the practice of sailing on a training ship at the Barombong Shipping Polytechnic. (4) the effect of Simultaneous Motivation, Discipline and Leadership on the Spirit of Cadets of Sailing Practice Activities on a Training Vessel at the Barombong Shipping Polytechnic
This research approach is a quantitative approach. The research was carried out at the Brombong Shipping Polytechnic and was carried out starting in 2021. The
research population was 70 people in the practice of sailing practice cadets at the Barombong Shipping Polytechnic. The sample selection in this study was carried out using the saturated sampling method, namely by determining the population as a sample with a total of 70 cadets. The analytical technique used is to use Multiple Linear
Regression.
The results showed that: 1) There was no positive and significant effect of partial motivation on the enthusiasm of the cadets in the practice of sailing on a training ship at the Barombong Shipping Polytechnic (2) there was a partial positive and significant effect of discipline on the spirit of the cadets in the practice of sailing on ships. Training at the Barombong Shipping Polytechnic (3) there is a positive and significant influence of leadership partially on the enthusiasm of the cadets in the practice of sailing on a training ship at the Barombong Shipping Polytechnic. (4) there is a positive and significant effect of motivation, discipline and leadership simultaneously on the spirit of the cadets in the practice of sailing on a training ship at the Barombong Shipping Polytechnic.
