Abstract

Yulvina Stella Woy. 2021. The Effect of Leadership Style and Motivation toward Career Development at Social Office in Mamasa District, supervised by Ahmad Firman and
Didiek Handayani Gusti.
The study aims to determine and analyze (1) the effect of leadership and motivation partially toward career development (2) the effect of leadership and motivation simultaneously toward career development (3) the most dominant variable that affects career development.
The sample selection in this study was applied out using a random sampling method from 117 populations. The method of determining the sample using the Slovin formula with a sample of 54 data analysis using Multiple Regression
Analysis.
The results show that (1) partially leadership style has a positive and significant effect toward career development with a value of 7,410, motivation has a significant positive effect on career development with a value of 4,601 (2) simultaneously leadership style and motivation have a positive and significant effect toward career development with a value 220,824 (3) leadership style is the most
dominant variable that affects career development with a beta value of 0.608.
