Abstract

Syamsul. 2022. Effect of Emotional Intelligence, Employee Welfare, and Motivation on Employee Performance at the South Sulawesi Regional Police Ditlantas, supervised by Badaruddin and Andi Ririn Oktaviani.
This study aims to determine and analyze: the effect of emotional intelligence, employee welfare, and motivation on the performance of the Ditlantas Polda South Sulawesi employees.
This research used a survey research. The research was conducted at the Ditlantas Polda South Sulawesi Province. The time of this research was carried out in February – March 2022. The research population was all 164 employees of the Ditlantas Polda South Sulawesi. The sample selection of this study was carried out using Slovin method with 83 number of participants.
The results showed that: 1) There was no positive and significant influence on emotional intelligence partially on the performance of the Ditlantas Polda South Sulawesi employees as indicated by the tcount (0.322) < ttable (1.993) with a significant value of 0.748 > 0.05. 2) There is a positive and significant influence on the welfare of
employees partially on the performance of the Ditlantas Polda South Sulawesi employees as indicated by the value of tcount (18,523) > ttable (1,993) with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. 3) There is a positive and significant influence of individual motivation partially on the performance of the Ditlantas Polda South Sulawesi employees as indicated by the value of tcount (5.218) > ttable (1.993) with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. 4) There is a positive and significant effect of emotional intelligence, family welfare, and motivation simultaneously on the
performance of the employees of the Pasimasunggu District Office, Selayar Islands Regency, as indicated by the Fcount of 492.297 > Ftable 2.70.5) The variable of employee
welfare is the most dominant on employee performance Ditlantas Polda South Sulawesi with a determination value of 0.792 in this research.
