Abstract

Samsidar. M. 2022. Influence of transformational leadership style, work environment
and discipline on the performance of the Jenepoto Regency Tourism Office staff,
supervised by Muhammad Idris and Haerana Alwany.
This study aims to analyze 1) partially the effect of transformational leadership
style, work environment and discipline on the performance of the Jeneponto Regency
Tourism Office. 2) the simultaneous influence of transformational leadership style, work
environment and discipline on the performance of Jeneponto Regency Tourism Office
employees. 3) the most dominant variable influencing the performance of the Jeneponto
Regency Tourism Office employees.
This research was conducted at the Jeneponto Regency Tourism Office. Determination of
the sample using the saturation technique by taking the entire population, namely as
many as 35 people from the Jeneponto Regency Tourism Office. Data collection methods
used are questionnaires and document studies. The analytical method used is descriptive
statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.
The results of the study conclude that: partially transformational leadership style,
work environment and discipline have a positive and significant effect on the
performance of the Jeneponto Regency Tourism Office. This means that the
transformational leadership style, work environment and discipline can improve the
performance of the Jeneponto Regency Tourism Office. Simultaneously, transformational
leadership style, work environment and discipline have a positive and significant effect on
the performance of the Jeneponto Regency Tourism Office. Partially shows that the
transformational leadership style variables has a dominant effect on the performance of
the Jeneponto Regency Tourism Office staff. This shows that the better leadership style
will improve Jeneponto Regency Tourism Office's employee performance.
