Abstract

Pirawati. 2022. The Influence of the Work Environment, Discipline, and Incentives on Employee Performance in Takabonerate District, Selayar Islands Regency (Supervised by Ahmad Firman and H. Hernawan).
This research approach uses survey research. When the research was conducted from November to December 2022. The study population was 33 people. The selection of the sample in this study was carried out using the saturated sampling method (census), namely by determining the entire population
as a total sample of 33 employees.
The results show that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence of the work environment individually (partially) on the performance of employees in Takabonerate District, Selayar Islands Regency. 2) There is no positive and significant effect of discipline individually (partially) on the performance of employees of Takabonerate District, Selayar Islands Regency. 3) There is a positive and significant influence of incentives separately (partially) on the performance of employees of Takabonerate District, Selayar Islands Regency. 4) There is a simultaneous (simultaneous) influence of the work environment, discipline, and incentives on the performance of employees of Takabonerate District, Selayar Islands Regency, 5) The most dominant variable influencing the
performance of employees of Takabonerate District, Selayar Islands Regency is the work environment variable. Based on the research results, it was obtained that the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.558 or 55.8%, employee performance was influenced by the work environment, discipline, and incentives, and 44.2% was influenced by other variables not included in this study.
