Abstract

Nurul Inayah Shabir. 2021. The Effect of Technology Support, Work Life Balance, Job Satisfaction, and Job Stress through Work Motivation as Moderating Variables on Elementary School Teacher Performance during the Covid-19 Pandemic (Study on
SDIT Teachers in Makassar City), supervised by Muhammad Hidayat and Muhammad Mukhtar Hamzah.
This study aims to analyze the effect of Technology Support, Work Life Balance, Job Satisfaction, and Job Stress which are moderated by Work Motivation partially and simultaneously influence the performance of SDIT teachers in Makassar City.
This study tries to confirm facts or findings in the field into a statistical test by using data from the population and samples that are closely related to the research
phenomenon and using a questionnaire as the main data collection tool. The research was carried out in the scope of SDIT Makassar City for 2 months. The population in this study is based on the number of schools studied, namely as many as 7 (seven) SDITs in Makassar City where the total population of the seven schools is 163 teachers.
Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis.
The results of this study indicate that technology support has a significant effect (p value <0.05) on SDIT teacher performance. The path coefficient value obtained is +0.324 so that increasing technology support will significantly affect the performance of SDIT teachers. Work Life Balance has a significant effect (p value <0.05) on SDIT teacher performance. The path coefficient value obtained is +0.432 so that increasing the ability to balance work and life activities at home will significantly affect the performance of SDIT teachers. Job satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect (p value> 0.05) on SDIT teacher performance. The path coefficient value obtained is +0.116 so that an increase in job satisfaction has the potential to improve teacher performance but is not significant. Work stress has a negative but not significant effect (p value> 0.05) on SDIT teacher performance. The path coefficient value obtained is 0.062 so that high work stress can reduce
the performance of SDIT teachers but not significantly.
Work motivation does not moderate significantly (p value> 0.05) the effect of Technology Support, Work Life Balance, Job Satisfaction and Job Stress on Teacher Performance.
