Abstract

La Ode Obi. 2022. The Influence of Transformational Leadership, Motivation and
Compensation on Employee Performance at the State Islamic Institute Sorong
City, West Papua Province (supervised by H. Saban Echdar and Maryadi)
This study aims to determine and analyze transformational leadership, motivation
and compensation partially and simultaneously on employee performance at the
State Islamic Institute Sorong City.
Quantitative research uses instruments (data collection tools) that produce
numerical data (numbers). Data analysis was carried out using statistical
techniques to reduce and group data, determine relationships and identify
differences between groups of data. In this study the population was all employees
of the State Islamic Institute Sorong City campus, totaling 74 lecturers and
employees. Determination of the number of samples used by the author in this
study is the saturated sampling method (census sample) which is a sampling
technique when all members of the population are sampled. . Sorong Klamono
KM. 17 West Papua Province totaling 74 people who have different educational
backgrounds.
The results of this study indicate that the results of the F test or simultaneous
testing show that the Fcount value is 28.047 and Ftable is 2.73. So it shows that
Fcount > Ftable with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. These results indicate that
transformational leadership, motivation and compensation simultaneously have
an influence on improving employee performance at the State Islamic Institute Sorong City. From the description of the t test, it is known that the t value of the
transformational leadership variables, motivation and compensation partially has
a positive and significant effect on improving employee performance at the State
Islamic Institute Sorong City.
