Abstract

Jemma, 2020. The Effect of Competence and Work Environment on Employee Performance at the Office of Communication, Informatics and Statistics in Barru Regency (supervised by Mashur Razak and Syamsul Alam).
This study aims to determine the effect of competence and work environment partially and simultaneously and the most dominant variable on employee performance at the Office of Communication, Informatics and Statistics of Barru Regency.
The research was conducted at the Barru Regency Communication, Informatics and Statistics Office, with the implementation time from November to December 2019 with a total population of 47 people. The sample of this research is using a census (saturated sample) of 47 people. Data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis (Multiple Regression Analysis). The tools used to perform the analysis are the SPSS version 26 application.
The results showed that competence (X1) = 9.103, work environment (X2) = 3.158, partially and simultaneously influenced the competence variable (X1) which was the most dominant and had a contribution of R square = 0.871 to the
performance of employees at the Communication Office, Informatics and Statistics of Barru Regency.
