Indra Jaya. 2022. The Influence of Leadership Style, Work Motivation, and Work Environment on the Performance of Brimob Personnel at the South Sulawesi Police Mobile
Brigade Unit (Supervised by Rustan DM and Azlan Azhari)
This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style, work motivation, and work environment on the performance of Brimob personnel at the Mobile Brigade Unit of the South Sulawesi Police.
This research approach uses a quantitative approach with survey research. The research was conducted at the South Sulawesi Police Mobile Brigade Unit Office for approximately 2 months, namely January - February 2022. The research population was 2,200 Brimob personnel at the South Sulawesi Police Mobile Brigade Unit. The sample selection in this study was carried out using a random sample (probability sampling), the number of samples in this study was 96 Brimob personnel at the South Sulawesi Police Mobile Brigade Unit.
The results showed that: 1) Leadership style had a negative and insignificant effect on the performance of the South Sulawesi Police Mobile Brigade personnel, where the variable coefficient value was -0,203 with a t-count value smaller than t-table (-1.367 <1.986) and a significance value greater than 0.05 (0.175 > 0.05). 2) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Mobile Brigade Personnel of the South Sulawesi Police, where the variable coefficient value is 0.691 with a t value greater than t table (4.466 > 1.986) and a significance value less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0, 05). 3) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on the
performance of the Mobile Brigade Personnel of the South Sulawesi Police, where the variable coefficient value is 0.452 with a t count value greater than t table (2,675 >
1.986) and a significance value less than 0.05 (0.009 < 0, 05). 4) Leadership style, work motivation and work environment have a simultaneous (together) effect on the
performance of Brimob Personnel at the South Sulawesi Police, where the calculated F value is greater than F table (90.051 > 2.70) with a significant value less than 0 ,05
(0.000<0.05).
