Abstract
Ewi Sasmita Sari. 2022. Effect Of Salary and Incentives on Employee Work Quality through Motivation as intervening Variable at PT JNE Makassar Main Branch, supervised by Muhammad Hidayat and Irwan.
This study aims to determine whether: 1) salary has an effect on work quality, 2) incentives have an effect on work quality, 3) salary has an effect on motivation, 4) incentives have an effect on motivation, 5) motivation has an effect on work quality, 6) salary has an effect on
motivation and quality of work through motivation, 7) Incentives affect work quality through motivation at PT JNE Main Branch Makassar.
The sampling technique used by saturated sampling. Data was
obtained by distributing questionnaires related to salary, incentives, motivation and work quality to 45 number of respondents. The data analysis technique in this study was partial least square using the Smart PLS application.
The results of this study indicate that: 1) salary has no effect on work quality, 2) incentives have no effect on work quality, 3) salary has a positive and significant effect on motivation, 4) incentives have a positive and significant effect on motivation, 5) motivation doesn’t effect on motivation and work quality, 6) salary affects work quality
through motivation, 7) incentives affect work quality through motivation at PT JNE Makassar Main Branch.
