Abstract

Avera Linarti. 2021. The Effect of Transformational Leadership, Quality of Work Life, and Work Engagement toward Discipline of Employees at Barombong Maritime Polytechnic, supervised by Muhammad Hidayat and Asri.
This study is a quantitative ex post facto study that aims to analyze (1) the effect of transformational leadership, quality of work-life and work engagement partially
toward employee work discipline (2) simultaneous effect on transformational leadership, quality of work-life, and work engagement toward employee work discipline (3) the most dominant variable affects the work discipline of employees of Barombong Maritime Polytechnic.
Determination of the sample of this study used a saturated sample with respondents as many as 88 civil servants at the Barombong Maritime Polytechnic. The data collection method used a questionnaire and the analysis method used
multiple regression analysis with the SPSS version 25 application.
The results of the study conclude that (1) simultaneously transformational leadership, quality of work-life and work engagement have a significant effect on the work discipline of employees of Barombong Maritime Polytechnic (2) partially
transformational leadership has a significant effect on employee work discipline (3) partially the quality of work-life has a significant effect toward employee work
discipline and partially work engagement has no significant effect toward employee work discipline (4) the quality of work-life is the most dominant variable affects the
work discipline of employees in Barombong Maritime Polytechnic.
