Abstract

ANDI AHMAD LUTHFI SALAHUDDIN. 2022. The Influence of Work
Motivation, Organizational Climate and Employee Competence on Employee Performance at the Department of Community and Village Empowerment of West Sulawesi Province, supervised by : Muh. Said and Ahmad Firman.
This study aims to analyze the effect of 1) work motivation on the performance of the employees of the Department of Community and Village Empowerment of West Sulawesi Province. 2) organizational climate on the performance of the employees of the West Sulawesi Province Community and
Village Empowerment Service 3) employee competence on the performance of the employees of the West Sulawesi Province Village and Community Empowerment Service 4) work motivation, organizational climate and employee competence simultaneously on the performance of the Community and Village Empowerment Service employees Province of West Sulawesi 5) the variable that has the most dominant influence on the performance of the employees of the
Department of Community and Village Empowerment of West Sulawesi Province.
This research was conducted at the Department of Community and Village Empowerment of West Sulawesi Province. Determination of the sample using the saturation technique by taking the entire existing population, as many as 42
employees. Data collection methods used are questionnaires and document studies. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.
The results of the study conclude that: partially work motivation has no significant effect on employee performance at the Department of Community and Village Empowerment of West Sulawesi Province. Variables of Organizational Climate and Employee Competence partially both have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Community and Village Empowerment
Service of West Sulawesi Province. This means that work motivation, organizational climate and employee competence are able to improve employee performance at the Department of Community and Village Empowerment of West Sulawesi Province, but for work motivation the effect is very small.
Simultaneously work motivation, organizational climate and employee competence have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Then the Employee Competence variable has a dominant effect on employee performance at the West Sulawesi Province Village and Community
Empowerment Service, this shows that the higher the competence of the employee, the better the quality of employee performance at the West Sulawesi Province Community and Village Empowerment Service.
