Abstract

Rizka Pertiwi. 2021. The Effect of Motivation and Discipline on Performance by Providing Additional Employee Income (TPP) as Moderation Variable in the Culture and Tourism Office of Maros Regency, supervised by Maryadi and Deddy Rahwandi Rahim.
This study aims to determine and analyze (1) the effect of motivation on the performance of the employees of the Office of Culture and Tourism in Maros Regency (2) the effect of discipline on the performance of the employees of the
Office of Culture and Tourism in Maros Regency (3) the effect of motivation is moderated by TPP on the performance of the employees of the Department of Culture and Tourism. Maros Regency (4) the effect of Discipline moderated by
TPP on the performance of the staff of the Maros Regency Culture and Tourism Office.
The study was conducted at the Culture and Tourism Office of Maros Regency. This study is quantitative and the sample was determined by using a saturated sampling technique (census), as many as 73 employees. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and document studies. The analysis
method used is descriptive statistical analysis and regression analysis of moderating variables. Data processing using the SmartPLS application.
The results of the study conclude that (1) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on the Employee Performance of the Office of Culture and Tourism in Maros Regency with t-statistic 4.425> t table 1.96 which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted (2) Discipline has a positive and significant effect on Service Employee Performance. Culture and Tourism in Maros Regency with t-statistic 3,656> t-table 1.96 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted
(3) TPP is able to moderate motivation towards the performance of the employees of the Maros Regency Culture and Tourism Office even though it has a negative
direction, with a t-statistic of 2,114 > t table 1.96 which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted (4) TPP is not able to moderate discipline on the performance of the employees of the Maros Regency Culture and Tourism Office with t-statistic 1.293 <t table 1.96 which means H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected.
