Abstract

Wahyudi. 2021. The Effect of Education, Training and Work Discipline on Teacher Professionalism in Teaching at SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang Majene Regency, supervised by Saban Echdar and Maryadi.
This study aims to determine and analyze (1) the effect of education, training, and discipline on teacher professionalism in teaching (2) variables that simultaneously affect teacher professionalism in teaching.
The research method uses survey research that takes a sample from one population and uses a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. The population and sample are 50 teachers. The technique used for data collection is through questionnaires and documentation studies.
The results showed that (1) the education variable (X1) affected teacher professionalism at SMA Negeri 1 Pamboang. This can be seen in the value obtained at a significance level of 0.043. The training variable (X2) has a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism. This can be seen from the significant value, which is 0.302 smaller than 0.05. The discipline variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism. This can be
seen from the considerable value, which is 0.029, which is smaller than 0.05. The variables of education (X1), training (X2), and discipline (X3) have a positive and significant effect on the Professionalism variable (Y), with a significance level of 0.127.
