Abstract

Risma. 2020. The Effect of Job Analysis, Career Development and Work Discipline on Work Performance of State Civil Servants at the Jeneponto Regency Library and Archives Service (supervised by Sylvia Sjarli dan M. Salim. S).
This study aims to determine and analyze: the effect of job analysis, career development and work discipline on the work performance of state civil servants at the Jeneponto Regency Library and Archives Service.
This research approach uses survey research. This research was conducted at the Jeneponto Regency Library and Archives Service. The study population was all employees at the Library and Archives Office of Jeneponto Regency, amounting to 30 people. The sample selection in this study was carried out using a saturated sampling method (census) by determining all populations as a total sample of 30 employees.
The results showed that: (1) There is no positive and significant effect of job analysis on employee performance, with t count = 0.544 < t table 2.055 reject H1. (2) There is a positive and significant effect of career development on work performance, with t count 3.779 > t table 2.055 accept H2. (3) There is a positive and significant effect of work
discipline on work performance, with t count of 2.722 > t table 2.055 accept H3. There is a positive and significant effect of job analysis, career development, work discipline
simultaneously (simultaneously) on employee work performance, where F counts 12.661> F table 2.98. The R Square value is 0.594. This value implies that the effect of
job analysis (X1), career development (X2) and work discipline (X3) on work performance (Y) is 59.4% while 40.6% of work performance is influenced by other variables that are not examined. for example motivation, work culture, work
environment, self-control, integrity and work facilities.
