Abstract

Ridwan. 2020. The Effect of Teaching and Learning Process toward the School Achievement through Student Reading Interest in Limboro State Vocational School of Polewali Mandar District, supervised by Saban Echdar and Maryadi.
This research aims to determine and analyze (1) the direct effect of the teaching and learning process and the school environment on the reading interest of students of the SMK Negeri Limboro Polewali Mandar Regency (2) the direct effect
of the teaching and learning process and the school environment on student achievement in the SMK Negeri Limboro Polewali Mandar Regency ( 3) the indirect effect of the teaching and learning process and the school environment on learning achievement through students' interest in reading at the SMK Negeri Limboro Polewali Mandar Regency.
This research was conducted using inferential descriptive research procedures. Place of research at SMK Negeri Limboro Polewali Mandar Regency.
The study was conducted in October 2019 until November 2019. The population in this study included students at the State Vocational School in Limboro, Polewali Mandar Regency, totaling 395 people. Sampling in this study used a simple random sampling technique (random) with sampling using the Slovin formula. In order to obtain a sample of 75 students of Limboro State Vocational School, Polewali Mandar Regency. Data analysis uses path analysis.
The results showed that (1) there is a positive and significant effect directly on the teaching and learning process and the environment of Limboro State Vocational
School in Polewali Mandar Regency (2) there is a positive and significant effect directly on the teaching and learning process and the school environment on student achievement in Limboro State Vocational School in Polewali Mandar (3) there is a positive and significant indirect effect of the teaching and learning process and the school environment on learning achievement through students' interest in reading at SMK Negeri Limboro Polewali Mandar Regency.
