Abstract

Kamaruddin. 2021. The Effect of Competence, Commitment and Leadership Style of the Village Head on the Success of Village Development in Masalle Village, Masalle District, Enrekang Regency, supervised by Badaruddin and Haeranah.
This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of the village head's competence, commitment, and leadership style on the success of village development in Masalle Village, Masalle District, Enrekang Regency.
This approach uses survey research conducted in Masalle Village, Masalle District, Enrekang Regency, in April 2021. The data used in this study is primary data collected through direct questionnaire surveys. Using a sample of 62 Village Apparatus and community leaders in the Scope of
Masalle Village, Masalle District, Enrekang Regency. Determination of the model in this study with saturated sampling technique. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis to test hypotheses 1, 2, and 3.
The study's results using multiple linear regression analysis showed that three variables significantly influenced the success of village development, namely Competence, Commitment and Leadership Style.
Variables of Competence, Commitment and Leadership Style simultaneously affect the success of village development. Commitment is the most influential variable on the success of village development.
