This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of training and employee development on performance through work motivation in the Civil Service Police Unit, Fire and Rescue of the Selayar Islands Regency.
This study approach used a quantitative research conducted at the Civil Service Police Unit, Fire and Rescue of Selayar Islands Regency in March 2021.
The population is the personnel of the Civil Service Police Unit of the Selayar Islands Regency, amounting to 260 people. The sample selection in this study was carried out using a random sampling method from the total population with a sample of 72 employees.
The results show that (1) there is a positive and significant effect of training toward the performance of employees in the Civil Service Police Unit, Fire and
Rescue of Selayar Islands Regency (2) there is a positive and significant effect of Employee Development on Employee Performance in the Civil Service Police Unit, Fire Service and Rescue of Selayar Islands Regency (3) there is a positive and significant effect of motivation on the performance of employees in the Civil Service Police Unit, Fire and Rescue of Selayar Islands Regency (4) there is a significant effect of training on employee motivation at the Civil Service Police Unit, Fire and Rescue of Selayar Islands Regency (5) there is a positive but insignificant effect of Employee Development on Employee Work Motivation at the Civil Service Police Unit, Fire and Rescue of the Selayar Islands Regency (6) there is a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance through Work Motivation at the Civil Service Police Unit, Fire and Rescue of Selayar Islands Regency (7) there is a positive but insignificant effect on Employee Development toward Performance through Work Motivation at the Civil Service Police Unit, Fire and Rescue of Selayar Islands Regency.
