Abstract

Asriadi. 2021. The Effect of Competence, Discipline and Compensation in Efforts to Improve Employee Performance at the Youth Sports and Tourism Office of Polewali Mandar Regency, supervised by Muhammad Idris and Maryadi.
This study aims to analyze the effect of (1) partially Competence, Discipline and Compensation on Employee Performance Improvement at the Youth Sports and Tourism Office of Polewali Mandar Regency (2) the simultaneous influence of Competence, Discipline and Compensation on Employee Performance Improvement at the Youth Sports and Tourism Office. Polewali Mandar Regency (3) the most dominant variable influencing the Employee Performance Improvement at the Youth Sports and Tourism Office of Polewali Mandar Regency.
This research was conducted on employees at the Youth Sports and Tourism Office of Polewali Mandar Regency. Determination of the sample using saturated technique by taking the entire population, as many as 33 employees at the Youth Sports and Tourism Office of Polewali Mandar Regency. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and document studies. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.
The results of the study concluded that (1) partially Competence and Compensation had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance Improvement at the Youth Sports and Tourism Office of Polewali Mandar Regency,
while Discipline did not have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance Improvement at the District Youth Sports and Tourism Office Polewali Mandar. This means that Competence and Compensation is able to increase Employee Performance at the Polewali Mandar Regency Youth Sports and Tourism Service (2) simultaneously Competence, Discipline and Compensation have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance Improvement at the Youth Sports and Tourism Office of Polewali Mandar Regency (3) partially it shows that the compensation variable has a dominant effect on the Improvement of Employee Performance at the Polewali Mandar District Youth Sport and Tourism
Office, this indicates that the better the compensation will further improve the performance of the staff of the Polewali Mandar District Youth Sport and Tourism Office.
