Abstract

Asep Suharja R. K. 2021. The Effect of Compensation and Transformational Leadership Style toward the Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction (Case Study at the Barru District Public Works and Spatial Planning Office),
supervised by Muhammad Hidayat and Didin Halim.
This study aims to determine (1) the effect of compensation on job satisfaction (2) the effect of transformational leadership on job satisfaction (3) the effect of compensation on employee performance (4) the effect of transformational leadership on employee performance (5) the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance ( 6) the effect of compensation on employee performance through
job satisfaction (7) the influence of transformational leadership style on employee performance through job satisfaction at the Public Works and Spatial Planning
Office of Barru Regency.
The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires related to compensation, transformational leadership styles, and job satisfaction and performance to 45 respondents at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Barru Regency. The sampling technique used saturated sampling. The data analysis technique in this study was Partial Least Square using the Smart PLS application.
The results showed that (1) compensation affects job satisfaction (2) transformational leadership style affects job satisfaction (3) compensation affects employee performance (4) transformational leadership style affects employee performance (5) job satisfaction affects employee performance (6) compensation affects employee performance through job satisfaction (7) transformational leadership style affects employee performance through job satisfaction at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office.
