Abstract

Andi Martina. 2018MM11634. The Effect of Compensation, Work Motivation and Organizational Culture on Job Satisfaction and Performance of Non-Permanent Employees in the Environment and Forestry Service of Selayar Regency (supervised by Saban Echdar and Maryadi).
This study aims to determine and analyze: the effect of compensation, work motivation and organizational culture on job satisfaction and performance of temporary employees in the environmental and forestry office of Selayar district.
This research approach uses quantitative research. The research was conducted at the Environment and Forestry Service of Selayar Regency. When the research was conducted starting in July 2020. The study population was all employees of the Environment and Forestry Service of Selayar Regency, totaling 304 people. The sample selection in this study uses Arikunto's opinion (in Echdar, 2017) that if the number of subjects is large, 20-55% or more can be taken depending on the number of researchers' abilities; thus the research sample was determined to be 40% x 304 = 121.6 rounded off to
120 people.
The results of this study indicate that: 1) There is an effect of compensation on employee performance, 2) There is an influence of work motivation on employee performance, 3)
There is an influence of organizational culture on employee performance, 4) There is an effect of compensation on job satisfaction, 5) There is an influence of work motivation on
job satisfaction, 6) There is an influence of organizational culture on job satisfaction, 7) There is an influence of job satisfaction on employee performance, 8) There is an effect of compensation on employee performance through job satisfaction, 9) There is an influence of organizational culture on employee performance through job satisfaction, 10 ) there is an influence of motivation on employee performance through job satisfaction.
