This study aims to understand the impact of student involvement in campus organizations on the balance of their academic and social lives at the Nobel Indonesia Institute of Technology and Business.
The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach, where data was obtained through in-depth interviews with 13 student organization leaders.
The results show that involvement in organizations has a significant positive impact on the development of soft skills, such as leadership, communication, time management, and self-confidence. Students also experience an increase in social skills and an expansion of their friendship networks. However, challenges were also found, such as schedule conflicts between organizational activities and academic obligations, psychological pressure, and the need for effective time management. Student organizations generally have implemented adaptive strategies such as schedule flexibility, time management training, and emotional support through sharing sessions and mentoring. This study emphasizes the importance of organizational and institutional support in creating a balance between students' academic and social lives.
