Abstract
Amri Setiawan. 2023. The Influence of Work Motivation and Discipline on the Performance of Employees at the Pompengan Jeneberang River Area Center in Makassar, supervised by Un Dini Imran and Andi Ircham Hidayat.
This research aims to determine (1) The partial influence of motivation and work discipline variables on employee performance. (2) The influence of motivation and work discipline simultaneously on employee performance. (3) The variable that has the most dominant influence on the performance of employees of the Pompengan Jeneberang River Regional Office.
The type of research used is a quantitative method. The research sample was 56 employees of the Pompengan Jeneberang River Regional Center in Makassar. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis. Data collection methods use observation, questionnaires with a Likert scale, interviews, and documentation.
The results show that (1) Partially, the variables of motivation and work discipline has a positive and significant influence on the performance of employees of the Pompengan Jeneberang River Regional Center in Makassar. (2) Simultaneously, the variables of motivation and work discipline has a positive and significant influence on the performance of the employees of the Pompengan Jeneberang River Regional Center in Makassar. (3) The work discipline variable that has the most influence on the performance of employees of the Pompengan Jeneberang River Regional Center in Makassar.
