Abstract

Astuti Sofyandi. 2025. The influence of organizational culture and recognition on employee work motivation at the south Sulawesi provincial education quality assurance agency, supervised by Un Dini Imran and Hamdana.
This study aims to determine (1) the partial influence of organizational culture and recognition on employee work motivation, (2) the simultaneous influence of organizational culture and recognition on employee work motivation and, (3) the most dominant variable influencing employee work motivation.
The study employed a quantitative approach. The research was conducted at the south Sulawesi provincial education quality assurance agency. the research period was from january to february 2025. the research population consisted of all employees of the agency, totaling 104 individuals. The sample selection used the Slovin formula, resulting in a sample of 51 employees.
The research findings indicate that: (1) individually, organizational culture and recognition have a positive and significant influence on employee work motivation. (2) There is a significant influence of organizational culture and recognition on employee work motivation collectively. (3) The most dominant variable influencing employee work motivation is organizational culture.
