Abstract

Triva Ambar Sari. 2025. The Influence of Work Discipline and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance at the Makassar City Manpower Office, supervised by Un Dini Imran and Hardianty Askar.
This study aims to analyze (1) the influence of work discipline and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Makassar City Manpower Office, (2) the simultaneous influence of work discipline and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Makassar City Manpower Office, and (3) the most dominant variable influencing employee performance between work discipline and job satisfaction at the Makassar City Manpower Office.
The study employed a quantitative approach with a sample of 52 respondents who are employees at the Makassar City Manpower Office. The study utilized multiple linear regression analysis, with data collected through
questionnaires using a Likert scale.
The research findings indicate that (1) Work discipline has a positive and significant partial influence on employee performance, while job satisfaction does not have a partial influence on employee performance. (2) Work discipline and
job satisfaction have a positive simultaneous influence on employee performance. (3) The variable of work discipline has the most positive and significant influence on employee performance.
