This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of motivation on accounting students' interest in following accounting learning activities at Nobel Indonesia Institute of Technology and Business.
The study employed a quantitative approach using a questionnaire with a Likert scale to collect data from 150 respondents. A simple random sampling technique was used
to select the sample.
The research findings demonstrate a significant influence of motivation on students' interest in following accounting learning. The higher the motivation, both internal and
external factors, the greater the students' interest in actively participating in the learning process. The study concludes that increasing motivation, through engaging learning strategies and adequate academic support, can enhance student participation in accounting learning.
