Abstract

Usniar. 2019. The Influence of Competence, Work Motivation, and Compensation on Performance at the Maros District Residential and Land Housing Office, supervised by
Muhammad Idris and Didiek Handayani Gusti.
The study aimed to determine and analyze the effect of competence, work motivation, and compensation partially and simultaneously as well as the most dominant variable on employee performance at the Housing and Land Areas Office of Maros Regency.
This type of research is a combination of qualitative and quantitative because this research uses a survey method with correlational analysis techniques. The population in
this study includes all employees at the Housing,Settlement, and Land Area Office, Maros Regency, totaling 52 people. A sampling of this research was carried out using a saturated
sampling technique (census) so that the sample used in this study was as many as 52 employees at the Housing and Land Affairs Office of Maros Regency. The data analysis
used is multiple regression analysis (Multiple Regression Analysis).
The results show that competence, work motivation, and compensation partially and simultaneously the compensation that most dominantly influenced the performance of employees at the Department of Housing, Settlements and Land Areas, Maros Regency.
