Abstract
Syamsiar. 2024. The Influence of Motivation, Work Environment, and Competence on the Performance of Employees at the Food Crops, Horticulture, Plantation, and Food
Security Agency of Takalar Regency, supervised by Nawir Rahman and Abdullah.
This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation, work environment, and competence on the performance of employees at the Food Crops, Horticulture, Plantation, and Food Security Agency of Takalar Regency.
This research was conducted at the Food Crops, Horticulture, Plantation, and Food Security Agency of Takalar Regency. The research sample includes all employees, totaling 73 individuals. Due to the small population size, this study uses a census method, where the entire population is considered as respondents. The data source utilizes
primary data. The analysis method employed is multiple linear regression analysis.
The research results demonstrate that simultaneously, motivation, work environment, and competence have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. However, partially, the motivation variable has the most significant
influence on employee performance.
