This study aims to determine the employees' response to these complexities by observing the influence of human resource competence, professionalism, and commitment
on the performance of employees in the Secretariat of the DPRD of Pangkep Regency.
The research method used a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis technique. Respondents were determined using a saturated sampling technique, and a total of 100 respondents were obtained.
The results of the analysis show that (1) Partially, the variables of human resource competence and professionalism have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, while organizational commitment does not have a significant influence. (2) Simultaneously, the variables of human resource competence, professionalism, and commitment have a positive and significant influence on the performance of employees in the Secretariat of the DPRD of Pangkep Regency.
