Abstract
RAHMAN. 2023. The Influence of Democratic Leadership Style, Work Motivation and Human Resource Development on the Performance of State Civil Servants at the Majene Regency PUPR Service, guided by Hernawan and Mukhtar Hamzah.
This research aims to analyze (1) the influence of democratic leadership style, work motivation and HR development partially on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the Majene Regency PUPR Service (2) the influence of democratic leadership style, work motivation and HR development simultaneously on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus At the Majene Regency PUPR Service (3) find out the variables that have the most dominant influence on the performance of State civil servants at the Majene Regency PUPR Service.
Sampling in this study used a saturated sample method, by determining the entire population of 59 ASN people. The data collection method used is a questionnaire, the analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.
The results of the research concluded that partially (1) the democratic leadership style had an effect on ASN performance, this shows that the better the application of the democratic leadership style, the more ASN performance at the Majene Regency PUPR Service would improve. 2) work motivation influences employee performance, this shows that the higher employee motivation, the more ASN performance will improve at the Majene Regency Public Works and Spatial
Planning Office. 3) HR development influences employee performance, this shows that the better the HR development, the more ASN performance will improve at the Majene Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning Office. 4) Simultaneously
shows that the variables of democratic leadership style, motivation and HR development influence ASN performance, which means that increasing democratic leadership style, motivation and HR development will influence the increase in ASN performance at the Majene Regency PUPR Service Office by
91.9%. (5) Beta test results show that the democratic leadership style variable has a dominant influence on the performance of the State Civil Apparatus at the Majene Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning Service.
