Abstract
Nurfadly. 2024. The Influence of Management Functions on Budget Absorption at the Work Unit of BMKG in the South Sulawesi Region, supervised by Abdullah and Zainal Abidin.
This study aims to analyze the influence of planning, budgeting, and evaluation functions on budget absorption at the BMKG work unit in the South Sulawesi region.
The research was conducted at the BMKG work unit in the South Sulawesi region. The population of the study consisted of 208 employees at the BMKG work unit in the South Sulawesi region, and the sample was taken using purposive sampling,
specifically targeting 48 employees working in the finance department. Data were collected through questionnaires using Google Forms distributed to the respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression.
The results of the study indicate that (1) Planning function has a positive but not significant influence on budget absorption at the BMKG work unit in the South Sulawesi
region. (2) Budgeting function has a positive and significant influence on budget absorption at the BMKG work unit in the South Sulawesi region. (3) Evaluation function
has a positive but not significant influence on budget absorption at the BMKG work unit in the South Sulawesi region. (4) The planning, budgeting, and evaluation functions simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on budget absorption at the BMKG work unit in the South Sulawesi region.
