Abstract
Ningsih Pratiwi Rombe Bunga. 2023. The Influence of Leadership Style and Work Environment on Employee Performance through Work Motivation as an Intervening
Variable, supervised by Andi Ririn Oktaviani and H. Muhammad Hidayat.
This study aims to determine (1) The influence of leadership style on employee performance (2) The influence of the work environment on employee performance (3) The effect of leadership style on employee motivation (4) The influence of work environment on employee motivation (5) The influence of work motivation on employee performance (6) The effect of leadership style through work motivation as an intervening variable on employee performance (7) The influence of whether the work environment through work motivation as an intervening variable on employee performance at the Regional
Secretariat of East Luwu District.
The research approach uses quantitative methods with an Output algorithm and Bootstrapping methods. The research was conducted at the Regional Secretariat office of East Luwu Regency with a total sample of 50 people.
The results show that (1) Leadership style has no effect and is not significant on employee performance. (2) The work environment has no effect and is not significant
on the performance of employees at the Regional Secretariat of East Luwu Regency. (3) Leadership style has a significant and influential influence on work motivation at the
Regional Secretariat of East Luwu Regency. (4) The work environment has a significant influence on work motivation. (5) The work motivation has a significant effect on
employee performance. (6) Leadership style through work motivation influences and is significant in employee performance. (7) The work environment through work motivation has a significant and significant effect on employee performance at the Regional Secretariat of East Luwu Regency.
