This study aims to analyze (1) The partial influence of competence, career development, and work environment on employee performance. (2) The simultaneous influence of competence, career development, and work environment on employee performance. (3) The most dominant variable influencing employee performance at the Department of Trade, Industry, Cooperatives, and SMEs of West Sulawesi Province.
This research uses a quantitative research design with a survey approach. The research took place from January 2024 to February 2024. The population of the study is all employees at the Department of Trade, Industry, Cooperatives, and SMEs of West Sulawesi Province. The sampling technique used was saturation sampling with a sample size of 72 respondents.
The results of the study show that (1) Partially, the variables of competence, career development, and work environment have a positive and significant influence on
employee performance. (2) Simultaneously, the variables of competence, career development, and work environment have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. (3) Competence is the most dominant variable influencing
employee performance at the Department of Trade, Industry, Cooperatives, and SMEs of West Sulawesi Province.
