Abstract
Marliyah. 2024. The Influence of Leadership, Motivation, and Competence on Employee and Teacher Performance at SMP Negeri Matakali, Matakali Sub-District, Polewali Mandar Regency, supervised by Muhammad Idris and Asri.
This study aims to analyze (1) The partial influence of leadership, motivation, and competence on employee and teacher performance. (2) The partial influence of
leadership, motivation, and competence on employee performance. (3) Identify the most dominant variable affecting employee and teacher performance.
The research was conducted with employees and teachers at SMP Negeri Matakali, Matakali Sub-District, Polewali Mandar Regency. The population and sample for this study included 33 employees and teachers. Data collection methods included
questionnaires and document studies. The analysis methods used were descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.
The results of the study show that (1) Partially, leadership, motivation, and competence have a positive and significant impact on employee and teacher performance. (2) Simultaneously, leadership, motivation, and competence significantly influence employees and teachers. (3) Partially, the leadership variable is identified as the
dominant factor affecting employee and teacher performance at SMP Negeri Matakali, Matakali Sub-District, Polewali Mandar Regency.
