Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the partial effect of Leadership, Competence and Organizational Commitment on Employee Performance at Makassar Shipping Science Polytechnic (2) The simultaneous effect of Leadership, Competence and Organizational Commitment on Employee
Performance at Makassar Shipping Science Polytechnic (3) the most dominant effect on the Employee Performance of Makassar Shipping Science Polytechnic.
The determination of the sample in this study uses Arikunto's opinion in Saban Echdar (2017) that if the number of subjects is large (greater than 100), then it can be taken between 10-15% or 20-55%, or more depending on a little of: the ability of the researcher is seen of time, effort and funds. Based on this opinion, the sample of this study was determined to be 25% x 180 population = 45
employees. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and document studies. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.
The results of the study conclude that (1) partially leadership, competence and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Makassar Shipping Science Polytechnic. This means that Leadership, Competence and Organizational Commitment are
able to increase Employee Performance (2) simultaneously Leadership,Competence and Organizational Commitment have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at Makassar Shipping Science Polytechnic (3) partially indicate that leadership variables have a dominant effect on employee
performance at the Makassar Shipping Science Polytechnic, this shows that the better the leadership will be the employee performance at the Makassar Shipping Science Polytechnic the better.
