Abstract
Hikmah Amir. 2023. The Influence of Work Discipline and Rewards on Employee Performance at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, South Sulawesi through Job Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable, supervised by Azlan Azhari and Maryadi.
This research aims to analyze the influence of work discipline and rewards on job satisfaction and employee performance at the regional office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, South Sulawesi.
This type of research is quantitative descriptive, with a sample of 70 employees. The types and sources of data used in this research are primary and secondary data. In this research, the data collection technique used was a
questionnaire. The analysis method used is Path Analysis.
The results show that (1) Discipline has a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction; (2) Rewards have a significant and influential influence on employee job satisfaction; (3) Discipline has a positive and
significant influence on performance; (4) Rewards have a positive but not significant influence on employee performance; (5) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance; (6) Work discipline through job satisfaction as an intervening variable has a positive but not significant influence on employee performance; (7) Reward through job satisfaction as an intervening variable has a positive and significant influence on the performance of employees of the South Sulawesi Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and
Human Rights.
