Abstract
Hendra Tokilo. 2024. The Effect of Leadership and Job Satisfaction Through Motivation on Employee Performance at CV Mitra Bahari Persada in Morowali Regency, supervised by Ahmad Firman and Badaruddin.
This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership and job satisfaction through motivation on employee performance at CV Mitra Bahari Persada in Morowali Regency. The type of research used in this study is quantitative with a survey approach. The sampling technique uses saturated samples, where the sample used in this study is all employees of CV Mitra Bahari Persada consisting of 64 people. The type of data used in this research is quantitative data, while the
data source uses primary data. The analysis method used is Path Analysis.
The results of this study indicate that: 1) Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. This means that the role of leaders in the organization has a real impact on the level of performance obtained by CV
Mitra Bahari Persada employees. 2) Job Satisfaction has no influence on Employee Performance. This means that the level of employee job satisfaction does not directly contribute to the performance obtained by CV Mitra Bahari Persada
employees. 3) Motivation has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance. This means that motivation management can be a key factor in improving the performance of CV Mitra Bahari Persada employees. 4) Leadership through motivation has an indirect effect on employee performance. Leaders who are able to provide direction and motivation effectively can stimulate or increase employee motivation, which then has a positive impact on their performance. 5) Job Satisfaction Through Motivation has an indirect effect on Employee Performance.
When employees feel satisfied with their jobs, this can stimulate or increase their motivation to achieve better performance.
