Abstract
Haruna Rasjid. 2024. The Influence of Motivation, Communication, Job Satisfaction, and Leadership on Performance in the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports
of East Luwu Regency, supervised by Harlinda Harniati Arfan and Giri Dwi Nanda.
This study aims to analyze (1) The partial effect of motivation, job satisfaction, and leadership variables on employee performance. (2) The simultaneous effect of
motivation, communication, job satisfaction, and leadership variables on employee performance. (3) The most dominant variable affecting employee performance in the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of East Luwu Regency.
The research was conducted at the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of East Luwu Regency with a sample size of 53 respondents. Data collection method using questionnaires. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The scale and measurement of data using the Likert scale.
The results of this study indicate that (1) Partially, motivation, communication, job satisfaction, and leadership variables do not affect employee performance in the
Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of East Luwu Regency. (2) Simultaneously, motivation, communication, job satisfaction, and leadership variables affect employee
performance in the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of East Luwu Regency. (3)There is no dominant variable affecting employee performance in the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of East Luwu Regency.
