Abstract

Dian Ekawaty. 2023. The Effect of HR Development, Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Makassar City Food Security Service, supervised by Andi Ririn Oktaviani and Asri.
This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of human resource development, motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the Makassar City Food Security Service. The type of research used in this research is
quantitative. This research was conducted at the Makassar City Food Security Service office with a research time of two months. The population in this study amounted to 66 employees, and for the sampling method using the saturated sample method, data collection was carried out on 66 samples as respondents. The source of data used in this research is primary data. In this study, the data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The analytical method used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, preceded by validity and reliability tests and classical assumption tests. Then, to test the hypothesis using the t-test, f test and the
coefficient of determination.
This study's results indicate that HR Development, Work Motivation and Discipline positively and significantly affect Employee Performance at the Makassar City Food Security Service. This study produces a coefficient of
determination of R2 or R Square of 0.380. This result means that HR Development, Motivation and Work Discipline are related to Employee Performance at the Makassar City Food Security Service 38%, and other causes outside the model
explain the remaining 62%.
