Abstract

Andi Dalauleng. 2021. The Effect of Organizational Commitment, Competence and Work Ability on Employee Performance at the Administrative Bureau of the Leadership of the Protocol Section and South Sulawesi Province (guided by Muhammad Idris and Maryadi).

This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of organizational commitment, competence and work ability on employee performance in the Administrative Bureau of the Protocol Section and South Sulawesi Province.
The research approach used in this study is a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. The data collection techniques used are by making observations,distributing questionnaires and documentation. The population is the overall number that will be the object of the research, namely all protocol employees and other staff employees at the Administration Bureau of the South Sulawesi Provincial Secretariat which was taken from data from the administrative subdivision in 2021 totaling 92 people.
The results of this study show that from the results of the F test or simultaneous testing, it shows that the Fcal value is 102.770 and the Ftabel with a value of 2.81. So it
shows that Fcalung > Ftabel with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. These results show that simultaneously organizational commitment, competence and ability affect employee performance at the Administrative Bureau of the Protocol Section and South Sulawesi Province. From the description of the t-test, it is known that partially, organizational
commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Administrative Bureau of the Protocol Section and the Province of South Sulawesi.
However, competence and ability do not have a significant effect on employee performance at the Administrative Bureau of the Protocol Section and South Sulawesi Province.
