Abstract
Zulhidayah. 2023. The Influence of Leadership and HR Competence on Employee Performance through Motivation as an Intervening Variable at the Education and Culture Office of East Luwu Regency, supervised by Giri Dwi Nanda and Ridwan.
This study aims to analyze the Effect of Leadership and HR Competence on Employee Performance through Motivation as an Intervening Variable at the Education and Culture Office of East Luwu Regency.
The research approach uses quantitative methods with path analysis methods. The research was conducted at the Education and Culture Office of East Luwu Regency with
a total sample of 87 people.
The results of this study show that 1) Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation. 2) HR competence has no significant effect on employee
motivation. 3) Leadership has no significant effect on employee performance. 4) HR competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 5) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 6) Leadership through motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance. and 7) HR competence through motivation has no significant effect on performance at the Education and Culture Office of East Luwu Regency.
