Competency Development and Work Discipline on Performance Through Employee Work Motivation at the Regional Secretariat Pinrang Regency. Supervised by Maryadi, and Syamsul Alam.
This study aims to analyze the effect of human resource competence and discipline on ASN performance through employee motivation at the Pinrang District Secretariat. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach
method by describing (descriptive), and explaining (explanatory) with the intention of explaining causal relationships and testing hypotheses, evaluating, predicting or predicting certain events in the future, operational research and developing social indicators. .The population in this study were 153 employees of the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency. The determination of the number of samples is based on the saturated sampling method (census), namely by determining all populations as a sample, as many as 153 employees who are then analyzed by multiple linear regression using SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that the HR Competency Variable has a direct effect on the work motivation of employees at the Regional Secretariat of the Pinrang Regency of 0.239 T count. 3.308 with a significance of 0.001. Work Discipline has a direct effect on employee work motivation of 0.480 t count 6.547
with a significance of 0.000. Work motivation has a direct effect on the performance of employees at the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency of 0.390 t count 5,210 with a significance of 0,000. HR competency has a direct effect on employee performance of 0.326 t count 2.996 with a significance level of 0.005. Work discipline has a direct effect on employee performance of 0.231 t count 2.829 with a significance level of 0.005.
