This study aims to determine the effect of human resource competence (HR),motivation and work climate on employee performance at the Department of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency. In this study,the author uses a quantitative approach. This research is included in the type of field research, namely research carried out in the realm of actual life. The research was
carried out from May to June 2021 at the Pangkajene dan Kepulauan Regency Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service. The sample in this study were all PNS DP3A
Pangkajene and Kepulauan Regency as many as 30 people. The data used is primary data using a questionnaire. Data processing is carried out with SPSS 20. Based on the
results of research conducted with data analysis, the results obtained are HR competence and work climate partially have a positive and significant effect on theperformance of civil servants, work motivation partially does not have a positive and significant effect on the performance of civil servants. Simultaneously the competence of human resources, work motivation and work climate affect the performance of civil servants.
