Performance of Civil Servants at the Maritengngae District Office, Sidrap Regency.

This study aims to determine and analyze: (1) the influence of competence on the
performance of civil servants in the Maritengngae District Office, Sidrap Regency (2) the
effect of motivation on the performance of Civil Servants in the Maritengngae District
Office, Sidrap Regency. (3) the effect of the work environment on the performance of civil
servants in the Maritengngae District Office, Sidrap Regency. (4) the effect of
Competence, Motivation and Work Environment simultaneously on the Performance of
Civil Servants at the Maritengngae District Office, Sidrap Regency. (5) The most
dominant variable influencing the performance of civil servants in the Maritengngae
District Office, Sidrap Regency.
This research approach is a quantitative approach. The research was conducted on
civil servants at the Maritengngae District Office, Sidrap Regency, and was carried out
from October to November 2022. The study population consisted of 59 employees at the
Maritengngae District Office, Sidrap Regency. The selection of the sample in this study
was carried out using the saturated sampling method, namely by determining the entire
population as a total sample of 59 civil servants. The analysis technique used is multiple
linear regression analysis.
The results showed that: 1) there is a positive and significant influence between
competence on the performance of civil servants in the Maritengngae District Office,
Sidrap Regency (2) there is a positive and significant influence between motivation on the
performance of Civil Servants in the Maritengngae District Office, Sidrap Regency (3)
there is a positive and significant influence between the environment work on the
performance of civil servants in the Maritengngae District Office, Sidrap Regency. (4)
there is a positive and significant influence between competence, motivation and work
environment simultaneously on the performance of civil servants at the Maritengngae
District Office, Sidrap Regency. (5) the work environment variable is the most dominant
variable influencing the performance of civil servants in the Maritengngae District
Office, Sidrap Regency. The R-Square value in this study is 0.736
