Abstract
Muhlis Ismail Kasim. 2022. The Effect of Assessment Centre, Competence, and
Compensation on the Performance of Employees of the South Sulawesi Provincial
Civil Service Agency, supervised by Asri and Basri Rakhman.
This study aims to determine and analyze (1) the effect of the Assessment
Center, Competence, and Compensation on the performance of the employees of
the South Sulawesi Provincial Civil Service Agency (2) the most dominant variable
affects the performance of the South Sulawesi Regional Personnel Agency
employees.
This study approach used quantitative research conducted at the Regional
Personnel Agency of the South Sulawesi Province from October to November 2022.
The study population is all employees of the Regional Personnel Agency of the
South Sulawesi Province, totalling 124 people. The sample selection was carried
out using the random sampling method, namely by determining 104 employees with
active office status.
The results of the study show that (1) there is a positive and significant effect
of the Assessment Centre, Competence and Compensation partially on the
performance of the employees of the South Sulawesi Provincial Civil Service
Agency (2) there is a positive and significant effect of the Assessment Centre,
Competence and Compensation simultaneously on employee performance Regional
Personnel Board of South Sulawesi Province (3) Assessment Centre is the most
dominant variable influencing performance with a p = 0.01 <0.05 and an effective
contribution value of 9.96%.
