Abstract
Lasmiani. 2022. The Influence of Competence, Work Discipline, and Work Environment
on the performance of the Industry and Trade Office of Enrekang Regency, supervised
by Badaruddin and muh said.
This research uses quantitative methods. The research was carried out at the
office of the Industry and Trade Office of the Enrekang Regency. The data used are
primary data and secondary data obtained from the technique of distributing
questionnaires to 48 respondents. The method used to test the hypothesis is the validity
test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, T test, F test,
and the coefficient of determination.
The results showed that 1) competence variable had a positive and significant
effect on employee performance, 2) work discipline variable had a positive and
significant effect on employee performance 3) work environment variable had an effect
on employee performance. In the simultaneous test, namely
4) the variables of competency, work discipline, and work environment simultaneously
have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of the Enrekang
Regency Industry and Trade Office. While the value of the coefficient of determination (R
square) has a contribution to employee performance of 70.4%, while the rest is
influenced by other variables not included in the study.
