This study aims to analyze the effect of work culture, human resource
competence, and work motivation on the employee performance of the agriculture
service and food security in the Selayar Islands district. The sampling of this
research was carried out using a saturated sampling technique (census), namely
taking the sample by taking the population of as many as 55 employees of the
department of agriculture and food security, Selayar Islands district. The data
collection method used was a questionnaire. The analytical method used is multiple
linear regression analysis.
The results show that (1) Work Culture has a significant and positive effect
(2) Human Resources Competence has a significant and positive effect (3)
Motivation has a positive and insignificant effect on the performance of the
agriculture office staff and food security in the Selayar Islands district.
Simultaneously work culture, HR competence, and motivation with a value of that
it has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the staff of the
Department of Agriculture and Food security in the Selayar Islands district.
Furthermore, work culture variables have a dominant effect on performance on the
performance of the Agriculture office staff and Food security in the Selayar Islands
district.
