Abstract
Hilaluddin, 2022. The Influence of Leadership, Personality and Workability on Employee
Performance at the Madatte Village Office, Pekkabata, Darma, Polewali Mandar
Regency. Supervised by Badaruddin and Abdul Khalik.
This study aims to determine the partial effect of leadership, personality and
ability on the performance of the employees of the Madatte, Pekkabata, and Darma
Village Offices, Polewali Mandar Regency, and to determine and analyze the effect of the
simultaneous leadership, personality and ability on the performance of the employees of
the Madatte, Pekkabata, and Urban Village Offices. Darma Village, Polewali Mandar
Regency and to find out and analyze which variables have a dominant influence on
employee performance at the Madatte Village Office, Pekkabata, and Darma Village,
Polewali Mandar Regency.
This study used survey methods and questionnaires which were distributed to
39 sub-district employees, which included Madatte, Pekkabata, and Darma Villages,
Polewali Mandar Regency as respondents. The analytical tool used is using multiple
linear regression analysis.
Based on the results of the t-test (partial test) shows that leadership, work
ability have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Office of
Kelurahan Madatte, Pekkabata and Kelurahan Darma, Polewali Mandar Regency. While
the Personality Variable has a positive and insignificant effect on the Performance of
Employees at the Madatte, Pekkabata and Darma Village Offices, Polewali Mandar
Regency. Meanwhile, based on the results of the simultaneous test or F test, it shows that
leadership, personality and work ability simultaneously have a positive and significant
effect on employee performance at the Office of Kelurahan Madatte, Pekkabata, and
Kelurahan Darma, Polewali Mandar Regency. The variable that has the dominant effect
is the work ability variable on the performance of employees at the Office of Kelurahan
Madatte, Pekkabata, and Kelurahan Darma, Polewali Mandar Regency.
