Farid Wahyudi. 2022. The Influence of Work Environment, Motivation and Work
Discipline on Employee Performance at the Regional Secretariat of Gowa Regency.
Supervised by Andi Ririn Oktaviani and Abdul Khalik.
This study aims to partially analyze the effect of the work environment, work
motivation and work discipline on the performance of the Gowa Regency Regional
Secretariat employees as well as to determine and analyze the simultaneous influence of
the work environment, work motivation on the performance of the Gowa Regency
Regional Secretariat employees and to analyze which variables are the most important.
dominant influence on the performance of the employees of the Regional Secretariat of
Gowa Regency. To analyze the contribution of the work environment, work motivation
and work discipline to the performance of the employees of the Gowa Regency Regional
Secretariat.
The results showed that the work environment had a positive and significant
effect on employee performance. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on
employee performance at the Gowa Regency Regional Secretariat Office, Meanwhile,
Work Discipline has a positive and significant impact on employee performance at the
Gowa Regency Regional Secretariat Office. Meanwhile, based on the results of the
Simultaneous Test or f test, it shows that the work environment, motivation and work
discipline simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance
at the Gowa Regency Regional Secretariat Office. The variable that has a dominant
influence on employee performance is the work discipline variable with a value of
"standardized coefficients eta" of 0.613 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.005. The
magnitude of the contribution of the influence of the variables of competence, motivation
and competence simultaneously is 74.0%. The remaining 26.0% is influenced by other
variables not examined.
